USA MADE POP UP DISPLAYS VS. IMPORT DISPLAYS FROM CHINA

"A Must Read Before You Purchase a Pop-Up Display!"

The U.S. market has been flooded with cheap knock-off import displays which are poorly designed and have caused much disappointment and embarrassment. Many are being told that the Pop-Up Display they are purchasing has been made in the U.S., or that it is an Import but is a "great" unit. Please keep in mind that if the price seems too good to be true, then it probably is. We cannot tell you how many horror stories we have heard from those who purchased such displays. Certainly the worst possible scenario is to arrive at your Trade Show finding that your display won't go together the way that it should, or worse yet, breaks during setup! Many of these cheap displays fall apart during transportation because the poor quality case is made of substandard plastic, and not able to handle the weight of the display, breaks apart during transit. One poor guy met the UPS truck for delivery only to learn his display was in pieces all over the back of the truck!

Shipping case with wheels - Very Important

Most people selling import Pop-Up Booths are selling the “Blow Molded” case. You DO NOT want this case! They are very flimsy and break very easy. They bend so easy that the Lid pops off in many cases. Also the case hardware ( Locks & Latches ) are made from poor quality material and break often. The wheels and Axle are very important also. Many people that end up with one of these cheap Displays have to drag the case because the Axle or one ( Or Both ) of the wheels broke. This will frustrate you more than you can imagine.

Too Many Channel Bars?

Nearly all Pop-Up’s from China come with multiple Single Channel Bars that take much longer to set up and at times can be quite frustrating. ( Sometimes they don’t even fit and you need to bend the frame to get them on! )

Fire Retardant Fabric Panels?

Most of the Fabric Panels that come from China are not approved b the FDA and are in many cases considered a fire hazard. The approved and also Industry Standard Fabric Panels ( Frontrunner ) are FDA approved and are Fire Retardant and have a nice smooth look and does not make your Pop-Up Booth look used.

Watch Out For Cheap Glue!

Watch out for the heat! Pop-Up Displays spend most of there time packed in it’s case stored in HOT places. We also have seen and heard many nightmares of people showing up to their Trade Show Booth with a “Melted” Display. That’s Right! The cheap glue from China was not up to Temp. Standards.

Are Your Lamps 150 Watts?

Many Trade Show Display Companies are selling with their Pop-Up Displays 200 watt Halogen Lamps. Las Vegas and many other large cities have banned 200 halogen Lamps due to fire issues and people getting burned when the dismantle their Pop-Up Booth. To avoid heat issues from the Lamps you might be interested in our Led Lamps.

Is Your Display A Bit Flimsy?

MOST Pop-Up Display Systems that come from China are very flimsy and can tip over easy with the slightest touch. When a Display is flimsy it can be very difficult to align your panels and your graphics might not look even.

Strong Hubs Are Important.

Many import Display Hubs are made of cheap material. The Hub of your Pop-Up is the main support of the frame. We hear too many times of people not being able to set their Display up due to a broken Hub. It is amazing how a small piece can cause such a huge problem. Check out What Our Hubs Are Made Of!
